The Living Room partners with local dance orgs for Portland Dance Month

The Living Room is proud to partner with local professional dancers and organizers Riley Watts and Sara Juli to present Portland Dance Month, a month-long series of performances and workshops taking place October 10 - November 11, 2018, the Greater Portland area.

As part of Portland Dance Month, The Living Room will host several Moving Target Portland community workshops including:

Sundays from 1-3pm (unless otherwise noted)

October 14 - Carol Dilley, Professor of Dance, Bates College, Lewiston

October 21 - Ayano Elson, Living Room Artist-in-Resident and 2018 Van Lier Emerging Artist of

Color Fellow, Movement Research at Judson Church, NYC

October 28 - Asher Woodworth, Independent Artist, Lincolnville/Portland

November 4 - Annie Kloppenberg, Professor of Dance, Colby College, Waterville *

November 11 - Michael Figueroa, Artistic Director of Ruckus Dance, Boston

*Special class 1pm - 2:30pm followed by Colby/Bates/Bowdoin Student Works-in-Progress
